Agnieszka Andrychowicz-Trojanowska

Agnieszka Andrychowicz-Trojanowska, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Institute of Specialized and Intercultural Communication (formerly: Institute of Anthropocentric Linguistics and Culturology), Faculty of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. She received her doctorate (2008) from the University of Warsaw for her PhD thesis entitled Parametric analysis of the text for special purpose as a medium of professional knowledge (on the material of terminology of stock exchange). She received her master degree at the Institute of Applied Linguistics (2003); at the same time she received her bachelor degree at the European Centre of UW (field of study: International Relations, speciality: European Integraton), and in 2009 roku she completed the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies in Translation and Interpreting (Institute of Applied Linguistics, UW). Her research interests are: glottodidactict and application of eyetracking in glottodidactict, translation studies and terminology. Since 2008 she is the head of Part-Time (Evening) Studies at the Institite of Specialized and Intercultural Communication. She is a member of Polish Association of Applied Linguistics.
